I don't know - does this make me a dork?  

I am in Austin, so the first thing I do with my free time is to drive to Book People to purchase a bag o' books.  The second thing I do is to sit outside the store and start reading one of them.

Dork-like behavior, or not?

PS - I started reading The Miracle Life of Edgar Mint, by Brady Udall.  Here's the first sentence:

If I could tell you only one thing about my life it would be this: when I was seven years old the mailman ran over my head.

Based on that beginning, I am holding out very high hopes for the rest of the book.
